Teen Beach movie was a box office success for Disney Channel, the big problem was that since it was a musical movie, many of the kids couldn’t follow the lyrics of the songs, since the Sing Along version (the movie with the songs subtitled) It only came out 1 month later.
This is why for the premiere of Teen Beach 2, we decided to go ahead and ensure that the boys can sing the songs from the day of the premiere.
How did we do it?
We uploaded videos with the subtitles of the songs to Twitter an hour before the premiere so that the kids could use them as a Second Screen while they enjoyed the world premiere of Teen Beach 2.
During the movie, in On Air, a reminder appeared with a countdown for the boys to play the video of the song that was coming up and thus synchronize their cell phone with the movie.
